Established in 2021, the Pozzi Lab investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying altered cellular communication in both the central and peripheral nervous systems during the onset and progression of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).

Using advanced and cutting-edge technologies, our lab aims to uncover new intercellular signaling pathways, develop innovative and physiologically relevant disease models, and identify novel therapeutic targets and strategies to counteract neurodegeneration in ALS.
